Anybody still here?

Haha! Well, I want to scream at my top of my lungs that I've graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with Diploma in Early Childhood education! 24 May 2010!

No one was there and as I see all my friends with their family members.
And as I see them holding to the little bear, bunch of flowers, chocolates and so many more~
I told myself, it's okie I still have my crazy, fun loving and busy family members always supporting me.

And I got a call! This is and will always be a gift, best gift from Ngee Ann Graduation~
I've been moved out of the waiting list and I got into Wheelock College Singapore!! WOOHOO!

Just Random~

1. Never apologize for acting on your instincts.
Listening to your body- then taking actions on what you hear is the hallmark of heroic people.

2. Never apologize for all he tears you’ve cried.
Crying cleanses the soul. Shoot for once a month. Even if it’s just a brief mist at a tender moment in a sad movie.

3. Never apologize for anything in your portfolio.
If you feel the need to do so, it probably doesn’t belong in your portfolio in the first place.

4. Never apologize for asking for what you need.
The answer to every question you DON’T ask is always a no.

5. Never apologize for asking questions.
When you stop asking questions, you don’t just run out of answer- you run out of hope.

6. Never apologize for asserting yourself.
The word “assert” comes from the Latin asserere, which means, ‘to claim, maintain or affirm.’ And that’s exactly what you’re entitled to: Your opinion. Your belief. Your say. Let nobody take it away from you.

7. Never apologize for being a health nut.
Next time someone says, “What are you , on a diet or something?” look at them straight in the eye and say. “Yeah- you got a problem with that?” Then, when they are back down, you go back to eating your tofu.

8. Never apologize for being a newbie.
Everyone great chess master was once a beginner.

9. Never apologize for being early for an appointment.
In history of corporate America, no employee has ever been fired for consistently arriving 10 minutes early to every meeting.

10. Never apologize for being funny.
The world is too damn serious. We need you. Seriously.

11. Never apologize for being human.
Once you do, you’re no longer human- you’re a cyborg.

12. Never apologize for being passionate.
Unless you’re passionate about stabbing strangers with broken coke bottles.

13. Never apologize for being smart.
That’ the one things the government, the media (and every other entity that’s trying to control you) is terrified of: Smart people who take action. Be one of those people.

14. Never apologize for being the age that you are.
It’s just a number. “A chicken ain’t nothing but a bird,” as my grandpa likes to say.

15. Never apologize for breaking a rule that isn’t really a rule.
Be proud of yourself for being a rule breaker. Then go break another one.

16. Never apologize for calling bullshit on someone.
Especially when nobody else in the room is going to do it and tis person REALY need to be taken to task.

17. Never apologize for demanding respect.

If you’re demonstrated that you deserve respect by giving it to other first, you’re good to go.

18. Never apologize for disagreeing.
Especially if you do so respectfully. On the other hand, if you’re disagreeing for the sake of disagreeing, or because of your pathological need to be right, that’s a different story.

19. Never apologize for expressing yourself.
That’s all “leadership” is: The full, free expression of your truth. Don’t say you’re sorry for that.

20. Never apologize for falling in love.
Your heart’s calling the shot.

21. Never apologize for falling out of love.
Your heart’s still calling the shots- even when you throw up an air ball.

22. Never apologize for getting something off your chest.
That which you suppress will find a home in your body. And then it will trash the place.

23. Never apologize for giving it your best shot.
As my grandpa also reminds me, you do the best you can with as many as you can.”

24. Never apologize for growing up privileged.
As long as you scrap the entitlement attitude, remain grateful for everything you’re ever been given and respect the life situation of those who are less fortunate, it’s all good.

25. Never apologize for having an overabundance of love in your life.
Instead, circulate what you’ve got. Pay it forward. Share it. People need it. Especially St. Louis Rams fans. God we suck.

26. Never apologize for lack of experience.
Instead, share your learning plan; demonstrate your dedication to lifelong learning and practice becoming the world’s expert at learning from your experiences.

27. Never apologize for lack of information.
Ignorance is acceptable. Staying ignorant, however, is stupid.

28. Never apologize for liking stupid movies.
Movies snobs annoy me. Some of my favorite movies are among the most ridiculous films ever made. So I love Road house. Sue me.

29. Never apologize for living your truth.
Few things in the world are more important.

30. Never apologize for looking out for yourself.
Self-preservation is a primary driver of human behavior. It’s how we’re wired.

31. Never apologize for loving yourself.
If you do, you probably don’t love yourself as much as you thought.

32. Never apologize for making decision from your heart,
Remember: it’s not thee truth- it’s your truth.

33. Never apologize for needing time alone.
Solitude is soil/ Solitude is medicine. And if you don’t get your fx everyday, your life will suffer.

34. Never apologize for needing to use the bathroom.
Yesterday a girl in my yoga class walked out of the room and actually said to the teacher, “I have to pee, I’m so sorry.” Unbelievable.

35. Never apologize for not being there when someone called.
You have a life, too. People can’t expect you to wait eagerly by the phone all hours of the day.

36. Never apologize for not embracing someone else’s agenda.
Especially if that agenda robs you of your true talent.

37. Never apologize for occasional absentmindedness.
Everyone’s brain farts.

How do you agree with all these?

The last of my Granny's Journey.

Hello all.

Today 28/04/2010 at 4.08pm, our beloved Granny left us.

I recieved a call from mummy about going to 1pm saying that Granny is in pain and wants to see us all. My one plan for this day is just to be by her side, embracing whatever moments I'm left with her. I was all ready to head out, took a cab and went over to Granny's place.

The house was quiet, everyone look solemn. Ganny was fast asleep, but as I enter her room, she woke up. She asked me if I'm working...Where did I come from...The last things she said to me was, It's been a long time since I last went to visit her at home. I remember last christmas I was at Genting thus missing the annual christmas celebration and Lunar New Year eve I was working thus missing the Reunion Dinner and I only went over for just a little while on the second day.

I heard from Ah mei Jie that, her right lung had collapes and the cancer cell had spread. After which she will be fetching Father over for prayers and confession at 4pm.

It's only at 2.30pm and Daddy had to hand his car over and get his new car at 3pm. Thus wanted to fight with time, Daddy, Mummy and me went over for the cars hoping to return after Father has arrival.

About 4.30pm on our way back to Granny's place, Mummy recieved a call from Ah Sheng kor that Granny had left us. The whole car went silence, staring in blanks I was and back to the rear mirror I saw daddy's eyes really red, holding his tears back as his drove and swallowed. Asking mum if she still wants to head over. Yes.

Upon reaching downstairs, I don't know if it's the new car or it's Daddy's mind in a mess that he couldn't really get his car parked well into the lot. But anyway, Daddy took bigger strides to the lift and to Granny's unit. Stood outside the door held himself together and went in together with Mummy. I heard Ah Mei Jie said that she went away at 4.08pm.

Granny is sound asleep with her hands holding together over her chest. God Bless.
Father came in time and I believe she has met almost everyone she wants to meet before she took her last breath.
It's also believe that she saw Mother Mary and walks away with Mother. As they saw her making her last prayers with her eyes wide open staring at blanks, holding her hand together and pulling them to her chest, closing her eyes and breathe her last breath.

So Quiet now~~~
Anyway! I'm here to announce that I am place in the waiting list of Wheelock College Singapore.

Wants to know what's your opinion about me going over to Wheelock College Boston.
Mum is saying if I want to study then go lo~.
Sister says it's not a very good idea to go for now.But it's still my choice and how I make the best out of it.

Was thinking of taking up a job at a centre and gain experience while waiting for the "drop out or withdraw" students to give me space to study! Ha~ But I'm very much afraid that I would want to stay in comfort zone once I got a stable job. I'm like those who, have job- work, have school-study kind of attitude.

Another thought is to apply for Wheelock Spring intake. Provided that I pass my English at British Council which I have yet to apply for the examination.

Hmmm, comments?
