had a little shock when i read this on straits times.. does marc kor knows any of them?
"A REGULAR serviceman with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) was killed in a road accident in the United States on Sunday afternoon - 2.10am on Monday, Singapore time.
Lieutenant Alan Chee Zhi Hao, 21, was evacuated by air to the Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, where he died at about 9.20pm, said the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) in a statement.
He was with two other Singaporean servicemen when the car they were travelling in crashed into a parked truck along a stretch of highway in North Florida.
They were believed to have been on their way back to their base at the US Army Aviation Centre in Fort Rucker, Alabama.
LTA Chee, LTA Lim Jun Kai, 23, and LTA Ingkiriwang Wei Zhi Reeve, 22, had been on a trip organised by the centre to visit the National Naval Aviation Museum in Florida.
It is not known if the car was rented or belonged to one of them, but LTA Lim was at the wheel."
they are his juniors and think Marc saw one of them in person before. I saw their pics on fb before as we have a mutual fren who knows them quite well and been hanging out with them lately...its really a sad and shocking news...a happy event turn into a nightmare! May he RIP and condolence to his family!

ReplyDeletethe fast traffic and long hours is one thing..the condition of the road is what i feel causes more trouble...either roads with many bumps...not careful ur car might swivel and as there arnt much street lights like in SIN, makes visual really hard at night...and they always like to have a kurb so something right in the middle of the road that is not highly visible (no painting of different colours or reflective plates to indicated a kurb etc)...so might just goes up the kurb...

Everyone else who has driving licence, please also drive carefully. Recently, when Kor was on the road, we hiam hiam kenna accident due to reckless drivers around us. Haiz... dunno why they just love to zig zag at very high speed and dunno want to cheong to where, maybe they were having serious stomachache, that's why must rush before it leaked........... or maybe me old already, cannot drive fast enuf and cheong like the youngsters. hahaha!!
especially taxi uncles. haiz. today also, he totally never bother to check blind spot, change lane like his father road and swayed all the way towards me. my heart almost pop out, cannot even react to horn him. arhgg.
